I mean WOW!

I first saw Virgil’s clothes when I saw Kanye’s surprise performance in Sept 2014, at Common’s AHH Fest.  I mean for the most part I didn’t give a shit what he was wearing  because all I could think about is how I could get closer to the stage without someone beating my ass.  Then as the days passed by I started to notice the brand Kanye was wearing on stage, “OFF WHITE”.

I mean it’s street wear and it’s amazing street wear if you ask me.  He took a basic look and turned it into something everyone wants! Literally, his quotation marks and caution white stripes have made his brand so recognizable.

Virgil Abloh is one of Kanyes closest friends.  He once was his creative director and they became friends here in Chicago.  Im sure Virgil learned a lot from Kanye.  Being around someone who has come from the ground up has to be so motivational!  Virgil has gone from being a dj with a residency in Vegas, to making a brand that was just “streetwear”, and now he’s the creative director for menswear for Louis Vuitton.  This is MAJOR!!
